Chevron goes ahead with $28Bln Wheatstone LNG

Chevron said it would begin construction immediately on the A$29 billion (US$28Bln) Wheatstone LNG Project at Ashburton North on the Pilbara Coast of Western Australia after taking its final investment decision.

The foundation phase of the project will consist of two LNG processing Trains with a combined capacity of around 9 million tonnes per annum, a domestic gas plant and associated offshore infrastructure.
