Chevron Corp. is expected to announce soon a positive investment decision for the Wheatstone LNG project in Western Australia after receiving federal environmental approval.

George Kirkland, Vice-Chairman of Chevron, said: “We welcome the Australian federal government’s support for the Wheatstone project. The federal environmental approval is an important milestone in reaching the final investment decision.”
