Gazprom Marketing & Trading said it would be seeking the margins and demand for LNG cargoes in the Asia-Pacific region rather than in Europe, and would be delivering more LNG to India at oil-indexed prices.

“It's not that we don't like Europe or don't want to supply LNG there,” said Frédéric Barnaud,  Managing Director of the London-based trading arm of the Russian gas giant.
