GE Oil & Gas has been chosen to supply two steam turbine-driven compressors for the Royal Dutch Shell Prelude FLNG project being developed offshore Northwest Australia.

The contract is from Technip, the Paris-based engineering company, which along with South Korea’s Samsung Heavy Industries has been tasked by Shell to engineer, procure, construct and install the Prelude FLNG plant.
