Korean shipyards face falling LNG carrier orders as fleet reaches optimum level

South Korean shipyards, the largest builders of liquefied natural gas carriers, are facing falling orders for new LNG vessels as the current fleet is at more than its optimum level, while the slump in contracts for other types of ships has been even harsher.
