BG Group Australian LNG unit to spend US$1.2Bln on more feed-gas resources

BG Group said its Australian LNG project and coal-seam gas subsidiary QGC plans to spend A$1.7 billion (US$1.2Bln), ahead of its takeover by Royal Dutch Shell, in further developing its feed-gas resources in the Surat Basin of Queensland.
