Taiwan receives first LNG shipment under new long-term deal with Cheniere of US running until 2046

Taiwan has just received its first shipment from an expected annual total of 30 cargoes from US exporter Cheniere Energy under a long-term deal signed with the Houston, Texas-based firm in 2018 and starting in 2021.
