QatarEnergy signed definitive agreements with CPC Corp. of Taiwan covering the long-term supply of cargoes and a partnership in the North Field East LNG expansion project in the Arabian Gulf.

Taiwan has just received its first shipment from an expected annual total of 30 cargoes from US exporter Cheniere Energy under a long-term deal signed with the Houston, Texas-based firm in 2018 and starting in 2021.
