Korean gov’ mulls investment in US LNG

The South Korean government is reviewing a project to build an LNG export terminal in Louisiana. Consultants Samil and Kim & Chang were reportedly assessing the project's feasibility. If the project's feasibility is confirmed, it will be finalised through talks with the US and then proceed to final approval by President Trump. The South Korean Government will cover part of the project cost using a South Korea to US investment fund. The US was said to have requested investment from South Korea from the outset.
