Global market cool-off continues into March

Our preliminary March data again show weaker LNG output globally although exports were still up year-on-year. Meanwhile, net demand continued to slacken, our Market Editor Alexander Wilk reports.

MES wins more retrofits

US-based containership operator Matson Navigation Co is to convert the main engine of its 3,600 TEU containership, ‘Kaimana Hila’, from an MAN B&W S90ME-C10.5 to a dual-fuel ME-GI unit, capable of running on LNG.
