Korean LNG demand falls

June 14 (LNGJ) - Korea Gas Corp., the world's largest corporate buyer of LNG and with four import terminals at Incheon, Kwangyang, Pyeong-Taek and Tong-Yeong, said June sales of regasified cargoes amounted to 2.01 million tonnes, a fall of 3.7 percent from the same period in 2014. Kogas sold 1.13MT of LNG for power generation, down 1.4 percent on lower summer demand. South Korea imported 37.6MT of LNG in 2014.
