June 3 (LNGJ) - Sempra LNG, a subsidiary of the California utility Sempra Energy, signed a preliminary agreement with Australia's Woodside Petroleum to begin discussions and assessments for the potential development of Sempra LNG's proposed Port Arthur liquefaction project in Texas. The initial step in a memorandum of understanding means the two parties will explore the opportunity and conduct due diligence for the Port Arthur export project.
