Nov 22 (LNGJ) - Finland’s Cargotec Corp., a maker of cargo-handling machinery for ships and ports, has received an equipment order through its MacGregor subsidiary from an LNG import terminal planned for the Moheskhali Island area of Bangladesh. MacGregor has signed an order for the fabrication, engineering and project management of a complete subsea mooring and riser system from Summit LNG Terminal Co. The MacGregor system will serve Summit's floating storage and regasification unit. The Bangladesh LNG terminal end-user is Summit Power, an independent electricity producer, and the facility is one of several under development in the Asian nation.
