Sept 13 (LNGJ) - Cheniere Energy, operator of the Sabine Pass export plant in Louisiana and the developer of more liquefaction Trains, has increased its offering of Senior Notes, a first-call form of debt security, from $1 billion to $1.5Bln. The notes will bear interest at a rate of 5.25 percent per annum and will mature in October 2025. The closing of the debt offering is expected on September 18. Cheniere said it intended to use the net proceeds to pay down a portion of some of its outstanding term loans.
