Nov 10 (LNGJ) - French utility and energy group Engie said nine-month revenues were 47.51 billion euros ($51.15Bln), down 11.1 percent compared with the 53.5Bln euros posted in 2015. This decrease was mainly attributable to lower commodity prices which impacted LNG activities, exploration and production and other businesses, including power generation and to the temperatures in France which were milder over the first nine months of 2016 compared with the same period in 2015. Cash flow from operations, a good measure of profitability, amounted to 6.8Bln euros for the nine months, down 600 million euros ($655M) versus the 2015 period. Among its earnings highlights, the French company stated: “In China, Engie and Beijing Gas Group strengthen their strategic partnership in security of supply with a delivery of 10 LNG cargoes to Beijing for this winter.”
