Nov 4 (LNGJ) - The Jordan Cove LNG project planned for Coos Bay in the northwest state of Oregon has asked the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to rule soon on its request for a rehearing of an order rejecting its development. The FERC rejection order cited a lack of market support for the Oregon venture, though the project led by Canadian company Veresen later signed two Japanese supply deals, one with Jera Co Inc. and another with trading house Itochu Corp.
