March 29 (LNGJ) - Qatar Petroleum, owner of the UK South Hook import terminal in Milford Haven in Wales said it had delivered its 500th cargo to the facility. The delivery was made by the Q-Flex vessel “Al Hamla” of 216,000 cubic metres capacity. Saad Sherida Al Kaabi. President and Chief Executive of Qatar Petroleum, said that the latest shipment of LNG to the UK facility opened in 2009 underlined the significant achievements of Qatar’s LNG industry. “It also highlights Qatar Petroleum’s commitment to the reliable supply of clean energy to its customers around the world,” the CEO added.
