March 3 (LNGJ) - The Texas Alliance of Energy Producers said the state’s latest monthly natural gas output, which will underpin several LNG export projects on the US Gulf Coast, was just over 721.3 billion cubic feet, a decline of about 1.3 percent. Natural gas prices in Texas averaged $2.22 per thousand feet. The monthly value of Texas-produced gas declined 25.3 percent to about $1.6 billion. That’s as the Baker Hughes count of active drilling rigs in state averaged 305 compared with 773 in January 2015.
