April 17 (LNGJ) - The Canadian subsidiary of Malaysia's Petronas with plans to develop the Pacific Northwest LNG export project has welcomed advances in building a pipeline from the prolific Montney shale-gas plays in northeast British Columbia to the coast. Pacific NorthWest LNG President Michael Culbert was reacting to Canadian National Energy Board approval for the North Montney Mainline project that aims to connect with TransCanada Corp.'s proposed Prince Rupert Gas Transmission pipeline that Pacific Northwest will use.
