April 10 (LNGJ) - Chris Faulkner, Chief Executive of Breitling Energy Corp. of Dallas, Texas, and known as the "Frack Master" because of his support for hydraulic fracturing that has led to production of huge US reserves of shale gas and oil will be in the UK from April 15 for a Shale Conference in Birmingham. Faulkner said that with reports of a large oil discovery in the Kimmeridge formation in Sussex, England, the conversation about fracking in England was "more important" than ever."This is actually an extension of the same formation that was being extracted in the North Sea," Faulkner said. "This is a game-changer for England, and they will now have to shift their entire focus on how to approach oil and gas production. There's too much at stake now for them not to," the CEO added.
