April 2 (LNGJ) - Fluxys LNG, the owner and operator of the Belgian LNG terminal in Zeebrugge, has awarded the turnkey contract for a new extension of the facility to a consortium of DF Oil and Gas and Felguera IHI. The turnkey contract covers the construction of a fifth LNG storage tank as well as additional process installations and is worth over 200 million euros ($216M). The new installations are part of the investments required for the LNG trans-shipment services Fluxys LNG will carry out under a long-term agreement for Yamal LNG, the Russian production venture.
