Feb 6 (LNGJ) - Egypt Natural Gas Holding Co. said it secured 75 LNG cargoes from four international companies, including 33 cargoes from commodities trading firm Trafigura, to help meet the country's rising natural gas demand in 2015 and 2016. Egypt also concluded a separate agreement at the end of December with Algerian energy company Sonatrach to import six cargoes between April and September 2015. The Egyptians signed an agreement in 2014 with Hoegh LNG of Norway to charter a Floating Storage and Regasification Vessel to be deployed in the port of Ain Sokhna on the western shore of the Red Sea's Gulf of Suez. However, associated infrastructure has not yet been completed for the import facility.
