Feb 3 (LNGJ) - The Qatari LNG carrier shipping company, Nakilat, and Keppel Offshore and Marine of Singapore said their joint venture ship repair operation at the Erhama Bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard in Qatar had serviced its 100th LNG carrier. The shipyard has carried out maintenance for major LNG shipping players such as Mitsui Osk Lines and Nippon Yusen Kaisha of Japan as well as Teekay LNG, Shell Trading and Shipping Co and others. "Nakilat is a world leader in global gas transportation and we are proud that Nakilat's joint venture with Keppel has grown to become a leader in the repair of LNG carriers," said Abdullah Fadhalah Al-Sulaiti, Chairman of the joint venture called N-Kom and Managing Director of Nakilat.
