Jan 6 (LNGJ) - Black and Veatch, the Overland Park, Kansas-based LNG technology and project company has pointed up its involvement in the previously announced  projects by Golar LNG of Norway and Keppel Shipyard of Singapore to convert carriers to Floating Liquefaction Vessels. The US company said its processing techology will be used for the conversions of the Golar ships, the "Hilli" and the Gimi". "Black and Veatch will provide its successful PRICO technology as well as perform detailed engineering and process design, specify and procure equipment, and provide commissioning support for the FLNGV topsides and liquefaction process," the US company explained.
