Oct 30 (LNGJ) - Technip, the LNG and energy engineering company, said third-quarter order intake was 2.2 billion euros ($2.7Bln), little changed from the same three months of 2013, though quarterly net income was down 12.3 percent at 131 million euros compared with 150M euros a year ago. The French company said it continued to "mobilize well on the Yamal LNG project in Russia" and the first steel was cut on modules in China. In the Asia-Pacific region, Technip said the two Floating LNG projects it is working on for Malaysia's Petronas offshore the Asian country and Shell's Prelude venture for Australian waters progressed well, with the first topsides lifted for both ventures.
