LNG engineer boosts revenue

Oct 24 (LNGJ) - CB&I, the US engineering company involved in building LNG export plants in Louisiana and Texas, said its third-quarter earnings rose 35 percent and revenue was up 13 percent in the three months to $3.38 billion from $2.99Bln in the year-ago period. The company constructing the Freeport LNG facility in Texas and the Cameron liquefaction plant in Louisiana, said new contract awards in the quarter amounted to over $3Bln. "We are pleased with the results and $13Bln in new awards in 2014 to date, which reflect our ability to capitalize on key end markets we have been pursuing across our operating groups," said Philip K. Asherman, President and Chief Executive.
