Aug 5 (LNGJ) - Marathon Oil Corp., majority owner and operator of the LNG export plant in the West African state of Equatorial Guinea, said LNG production available for sale averaged 106,000 net barrels of oil equivalent per day in the second quarter of 2014 compared with 101,000 net boe/d in the second quarter of 2013 when volumes were impacted by a planned turnaround at the EG LNG facility on Bioko Island. The single-Train plant has been in operation since 2007 and has nameplate capacity of 3.4 million tonnes of LNG per annum.
