June 16 (LNGJ) - Korea Gas Corp. is completing three LNG storage tanks at its new import terminal in the east coast city of Samcheok, scheduled to begin operations by the end of the year. Kogas is testing the tanks at what will be its fourth regasification facility after Pyeongtaek, Incheon and Tongyeong. The Samcheok terminal will have an eventual total of 12 storage tanks. The state-run company is also planning to open a fifth import terminal at Jeju island off the southern coast in 2017.
