April 2 (LNGJ) - The LNG and energy legal practice, Norton Rose Fulbright, announced the appointment of Sheela Moorthy as a partner in the Singapore office. Moorthy joins from DLA Piper, where she was head of corporate in Singapore. Admitted as a solicitor in Singapore and England and Wales and speaking English and Malay, Moorthy has over 20 years of experience working on complex multi-jurisdictional cross-border M&A transactions in Singapore, Indonesia, India, Korea and Malaysia. Last month, Norton Rose Fulbright's Singapore office successfully renewed its Qualifying Foreign Law Practice (QFLP) licence for a further five years. Only nine foreign law practices hold a QFLP licence to practice Singapore law.
