Jan 23 (LNGJ) - Nigeria has delivered its 3000th cargo of LNG since 1999. Turkish energy company Botas received the shipment at its Marmara LNG import terminal. The event was marked with a brief ceremony on board the 148,400 cubic metres capacity carrier "LNG Lokoja" at the Marmara facility. NLNG delivered its first cargo to Marmara in November 1999, shortly after Nigeria started LNG production.
