Sept 2 (LNGJ) - Flex LNG said it has settled its long-running dispute with South Korea shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries that will lead to the Norway-listed company ordering two standard 174,000 cubic metres capacity LNG carriers for delivery in 2017, and with both sides marketing LNG loading arms that are no longer needed. The Flex-SHI dispute centred on a more than $450 million down payment Flex made for four planned Floating LNG production vessels, and related equipment including loading arms, as part of a multi-billion deal that ended up being cancelled.
