Jan 23 (LNGJ) - The main Japanese city-gas LNG importers Tokyo Gas and Osaka Gas reported booming sales. Togas sales rose 13.8 percent last month and were 6.4 percent higher for the year compared with fiscal 2011. Togas sales in the industrial sector were up 21 percent. Sales by Osaka Gas were 6.5 percent higher last month compared with the previous year and residential sales were 17.7 percent higher as lower temperatures raised demand for hot water and heating.
