Jan 14 (LNGJ) - Daily charter rates for LNG carriers are currently at around $120,000 per day for vessels still available, according to shipbrokers. With East Asian natural gas demand rising in the midst of the winter season and LNG prices at more than $16 per million British thermal units, charter rates are seen at these levels through February.
