Aug 16 (LNGJ) - Tokyo Gas Co., one of the main Japanese LNG importers, sold more than 1 million cubic metres of gas to customers last month, an increase of more than 7.5 percent compared with the same month a year ago. Togas is one of 209 city-gas companies in Japan and in the last fiscal year their combined sales totalled 35,912 million cubic metres, up 1.8 percent from the previous fiscal year. The total sales rose for the second consecutive year to a new record high.
