June 6 (LNGJ) - Qatargas, the No. 1 global LNG production company, awarded a multi-million dollar 10-year contract to Aberdeen-based STATS Group to provide remote pipeline isolation equipment. STATS will design, manufacture, test and supply a new range of high-integrity Remote Tecno Plugs for pipelines which will become part of Qatargas's Emergency Pipeline Repair System in the Arabian Gulf's North Field.
