Feb 28 (LNGJ) - A.P. Møller-Mærsk said it completed the sale of six LNG carriers to Teekay LNG, a subsidiary of Canada's Teekay Corp., and Marubeni Corp. of Japan. Originally, eight Maersk vessels were to be sold, but shareholders in two of them, French bank Societe Generale and Qatar Shipping Co., each owning an LNG vessel, claimed their rights to buy Maersk LNG's partnership shares in the ships instead of them being sold to the Teekay-Marubeni partnership.
