Jan 23 - Freeport LNG, the import terminal owner at Quintana Island Texas and developer of a liquefaction project to export US natural gas, has submitted two additional export applications to the US Department of Energy seeking authorization to export up to 1.4 billion cubic feet per day for 25 years. The company has submitted two applications, one for countries who are part of the US free trade agreement and one for those which are not.
