Jan 11 - Alcatel-Lucent said it won the contract to provide communications and security systems for the onshore plant of Chevron Corp.'s Wheatstone LNG project in Western Australia. The telecommunications networking firm won the work through the main engineering contractor, Bechtel of the US.
