Petronas said it planned to build a fourth LNG import facility at Lumut in Perak as the LNG exporter turns to LNG supplies to solve its natural gas shortages. The country's first LNG facility will be at Melaka and will be able to regasify 3.6 million tonnes per annum when commissioned by August 2012, Petronas said. A second facility will be a Pergarang in Johor and a third at Lahad Datu in Sabah.
