The board of CNOOC Ltd., the Hong Kong-listed entity of China National Offshore Oil Corp., the nation's biggest LNG company, named Li Fanrong as its new Chief Executive. CNOOC Ltd. said that due to his responsibility as the President of Beijing-based CNOOC, Yang Hua has resigned as CEO of CNOOC Ltd. to spend more time on his President's role. Yang continues to serve as the Vice-Chairman of the CNOOC Ltd. board, the company said.
