5th LNG journal LNG Shipping Review 2011

In 2011, we will be celebrating the fifth anniversary of the LNG Shipping Review.
Since 2006, LNG Shipping Review’s Editor, Ian Cochran, has put together a publication for the readers of LNG journal in which the main initiatives and technology of LNG shipping are highlighted.

Despite the current downturn, there are many projects still on the drawing board, which should see the light of day in the next few years.  Many of these projects will include the use of seaborne LNG transportation in some form or another.

One of the main editorial focuses of the Review this year will be on coastal shipments of LNG with a roundup of the leading players in this growing market, which includes the hybrids, ie vessels that can carry multiple cargoes. We will also include a profile of a leading LNGC player, the latest news from the various areas of the world and a round-up of new terminals coming on stream.  A section on FLNG will be included.

Other editorial sections will include: deck equipment, loading and off-loading systems, terminal equipment, dual propulsion, mooring systems, STS transfer, ice conditions, manning and training, process automation.  As usual, a full listing of fleet owners, operators and managers will be published within the front section of the Review.  And a round up of latest news from shipyards.

We are looking for editorial contributions in the form of articles, or technical papers with illustrations.  Editor Ian Cochran can be reached at  cochran@tankeroperator.com This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it    Ian has selected GasTech 2011 as a beacon for the publication date of the Review this year.
