Japanese shipping group NYK has announced it will issue about $1.4 billion of transition bonds on 16 October to fund decarbonisation projects, including LNG-fuelled vessels. The sale comprises three-, five- and 10-year tranches of ¥62 billion (US$410 million), ¥87 billion and ¥78 billion, respectively. Proceeds are intended to support investments in decarbonisation, including LNG-fuelled shipping.
