Last week, 37 LNGCs sailed from US export terminals, a rise of two on the previous week.

They had a combined carrying capacity of 140 bill cu ft, up by 6 bill from the week before.

Ten vessels departed from Sabine Pass, nine from Plaquemines, five each from Corpus Christi and Freeport, four from Cameron, and two each from Calcasieu Pass and Cove Point.

In addition, the ‘Excelerate Shenandoah’ with 3 bill cu ft of LNG carrying capacity, arrived to discharge a cargo at the Everett LNG terminal in Boston, Mass, according to data supplied by Bloomberg Finance to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).

A few imported LNG cargoes have been received recently in the US, due to the severe weather conditions.
