Atlantic LNG freight rates eased for the first time since October to $130,000 per day last Friday, while Pacific rates fell to $87,500/day, said Spark Commodities analyst, Qasim Afghan to newswires.
He added that the US front-month arbitrage to northeast Asia via the Cape of Good Hope marginally pointed towards Europe last week, while the arbitrage via the Panama Canal strongly pointed to Asia.
