German private LNG developer and operator, Deutsche ReGas, has claimed it had auctioned all of the slots available to deliver LNG at Mukran, contributing to gas supplies for winter and beyond.
The company held the auction on 21st October for deliveries into the Mukran Deutsche Ostsee terminal, located on Germany's Baltic Ruegen island.
"All delivery slots for LNG landing in Mukran during the heating season that has just begun until next spring, as well as 80% of the capacities for the entire year 2026, have been allocated," the company said in reply to an enquiry by Reuters.
"This means that deliveries via the German Baltic Sea energy terminal will continue to make a significant contribution to security of supply in Germany and Europe in the coming year," it said.
On 19th September, Deutsche ReGas announced the auction for 12 unloading and regasification slots that would be spread evenly through 2026.
Gas from Mukran can be fed into German and Czech gas grids.
