Brent Wahl, NextDecade’s CFO, has resigned from the company effective 20th October, 2025.

To replace him, the LNG plant developer has appointed Mike Mott, Senior Vice President Enterprise Transformation, as Interim CFO from the same date.

NextDecade said it will initiate a comprehensive search process to find a permanent successor.

The company also reiterated that it expected to achieve a positive final investment decision (FID) on Train 5 and the related infrastructure at Rio Grande LNG, subject to obtaining adequate financing, on or before 15th November, 2025.
