French engineering Group, GTT has received an order from Hanwha Ocean for the tank design of a new LNGC, one of two 174,000 cu m vessels ordered by Hanwha Shipping at Philly Shipyard in the US.
As part of this order, GTT will design the vessel’s tanks, which will be fitted with the NO96 L03+ membrane containment system. Her delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2028.
This follows a recent order from Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) for the tank design of two 180,000 cu m LNGCs.
Each vessel will be fitted with cryogenic tanks designed by GTT and equipped with its Mark III Flex membrane containment system.
Delivery of these vessels is scheduled from 2028 onwards.
