Newcomer Caturus’ leadership in place

Kimmeridge’s recently formed integrated natural gas and LNG company, Caturus has announced leadership and Board appointments .

Tim Wyatt has been appointed President, Head of LNG and Gas Marketing.

He brings a wealth of leadership experience across the global energy and maritime sectors, with a track record of successfully overseeing strategic growth initiatives and operational excellence.

Prior to his latest role, Wyatt held several senior executive positions at Hanwha Group, including Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer – LNG and Shipping. Before joining Hanwha, he spent 12 years at Cheniere Energy, culminating in the role of Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy.

Wyatt also previously served on the Board of Cheniere Energy Partners and NextDecade.

The Board will include:

Mike Stice, a veteran energy executive, formerly CEO of Access Midstream (formerly Chesapeake Midstream Partners) and prior to that spent 27 years at ConocoPhillips in senior roles, including President of Conoco Energy Solutions and later President of ConocoPhillips Qatar. Dr Stice sits on the Boards of Kosmos Energy, Marathon Petroleum Corp, and MPLX GP.

Jonty Shepard is the former Vice President LNG Trading and Origination at bp, where he spent 17 years growing the company's LNG portfolio. He will begin serving on Caturus' Board on 1st January, 2026.

Markus Droll spent most of his career at Shell, where he retired as Executive Vice President of Projects and Engineering. He was responsible for the global delivery of all Shell's capital projects, including upstream, integrated gas, downstream, chemicals, wind, hydrogen, CCUS, and low carbon fuels.

Caturus comprises Caturus Energy, formerly Kimmeridge Texas Gas, and Commonwealth LNG.
