Deutsche ReGas has signed long-term commitments for regasification capacity with BASF and Equinor
The two individual long-term commitments were agreed to an industrial scale with the giant chemical company, BASF and Norway’s energy company, Equinor for the use of LNG regasification capacity at the Deutsche Ostsee Energie terminal at Mukran, northern Germany.
Ingo Wagner, Deutsche ReGas CEO, said:“We are proud to support the energy security of one of the leading chemical companies and to work with the leading supplier of natural gas for Germany and Europe.”
Deutsche ReGas’ Mukran terminal, along with the previously completed LNG terminal at Lubmin, are the first and only privately financed FLNG terminals in Germany, thus far.
