Two Dutch construction companies, Ballast Nedam Infra and Hakkers, are working together on a new German LNG Terminal jetty at Brunsbüttel.
Building work will start this summer and will be completed in early 2027.
This jetty will have a capacity to receive LNGCs of up to 267,000 cu m, contributing to the European energy transition and sustainable infrastructure.
“Collaboration is in Ballast Nedam’s DNA,” said Richard Majoor, Ballast Nedam Infra Director. “In combination with Hakkers and CS Gas North, we want to build a proactive and efficient collaboration.”
Hein van Laar, Hakkers Waterbouw Commercial Director, added: “As a specialist in heavy hydraulic engineering piling and steel construction, we are particularly proud to realise this project.”
